Bruce Bowman (Director and Principal Consultant)
Bruce Bowman has a thirty year career in transport and waste related industries working for local and national companies and as an owner equipment operator. Bruce is a Civil Engineer with post graduate qualifications in Applied Science and has engineering experience that compliments his management background. Bruce’s career has extended across the states of Victoria, NSW, Queensland and WA.
Bruce is Member of the Institute of Engineers Australia as a Chartered Professional Engineer (1168382), registered with the National Professional Engineers Register and a member of the Environmental Engineering Society.
In March 2008 Bruce was elected the WA State President for the Waste Management Association of Australia. The position provides Bowman & Associates client’s enhanced representation regarding strategic waste management issues and strategies. www.wmaa.asn.au
Dr. Jacqueline Richards (Environmental Consultant)
Jacqueline Richards has twenty years experience working in the Environmental and Conservation industry in a variety of research, scientific and education roles within both the public and private sector. She has extensive experience in developing recovery plans, reports and other scientific documents for publication.
Jacqueline has completed a Doctor of Philosophy from the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Science with Honours from the Department of Zoology at the University of Western Australia.
Alex Upitis (Environmental Engineer)
Alex Upitis has completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental) graduating with Honours from the University of Wollongong in NSW. Alex has previous engineering experience from working at the Shoalhaven City Council, NSW and University of Woolongong.
Alex is a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia and the Association of Professional Engineers, Scientists & Managers, Australia. Through his connection with the Waste Management Association of Australia, Alex is a member of the Association's Landfill working group and Alternative Waste Technology working group.
